• Essential oils are very concentrated substances and should be diluted for nearly every use.

• When an essential oil is diluted, you would still need to take care and do a patch check on your own skin to ensure you have no adverse reaction.

• Keep all essential oils out of reach of children and pets.

• If you are pregnant or have serious medical problems you would be best advised to speak with your doctor/medical practitioner before using essential oils.

• Never take essential oils internally unless advised to do so by a medical doctor/practitioner.

• Store essential oils in a dark, cool place for the best long-term efficacy. Best practice is to store in the refrigerator, high up away from small children.

• Use extreme caution when using oils with children and give children only the gentlest oils at extremely low doses.

• It is best practice to consult a qualified aromatherapy practitioner before using oils with children.

• Inhaling oil: Essential oils can be inhaled by adding a few drops to a tissue, holding the tissue under the nose and breathing deeply.

• Direct Palm Inhalation: A drop or two of the blend rubbed in your palms with a deep inhalation is an excellent way to extra the benefit of the essential oils. Use as often as needed.

• Diffusing: Add a few drops to your ultrasonic essential oil diffuser.

• Apply to Neck & Back of the Head: Essential oils need to be diluted with a carrier oil, such as grapeseed, jojoba or coconut oil, before they can be applied to the skin. (see dilution levels)  Once diluted, put some on the palms of your handsm then rub together and massage the neck and back of the head.
