Magnesium oil is made from a mixture of Magnesium flakes and filtered water. By applying the oil to the skin (transdermal) in a spray form, the magnesium is more readily absorbed by the body and is the fastest and most effective way to experience the benefits of magnesium.

Our modern lifestyles, current farming methods and nutrition choices have led to a deficiency in this valuable nutrient that is vital for so many of our body’s functions.  Optimum magnesium levels in our body promote:

  • good sleep patterns,
  • improves skin and bone health.
  • helps to regulate nerve and muscle function and can be applied directly onto sore joints or muscles for pain relief
  • supports a healthy nervous system and is successful in decreasing stress and anxiety,
  • helpful for such skin conditions as eczema and psoriasis.

Directions

Spray on the body and massage well into the skin. Ideally after showering or before sleep. If you are feeling stressed during the day, you can also spray into a cupped hand and rub into your skin thoroughly.

On initial application, you may experience a slight tingling sensation. This will pass with regular use and as absorption commences immediately, skin can be towelled off after massaging in.

Precautions

  • Avoid delicate areas such as eyes.
  • Kidney problems, such as kidney failure: Kidneys that don't work well have trouble clearing magnesium from the body. Taking extra magnesium can cause magnesium to build up to dangerous levels. Don't take magnesium if you have kidney problems.

  • For ease of use, apply magnesium oil to the skin using a fine-mist spray bottle. Dispense 1-3 sprays into a cupped hand at a time and rub into the skin thoroughly.

It is preferable to apply magnesium oil to clean skin, as cosmetic products can hinder the uptake of magnesium by the skin. Apply after a shower onto wet skin, while pores are open.

The key is to apply transdermal magnesium wherever it feels comfortable. The magnesium, once absorbed into the skin, is circulated around the body so there is no direct need to focus just on a single area.

6 sprays = approximately one ml of oil and you can use anywhere from 10-30 spays per day.

We find that for best results; apply the magnesium oil liberally to clean skin of torso, legs, and arms. Avoid sensitive areas and mucus membranes.

It is normal to experience a tingling sensation during initial use. It is important to remember that it isn’t an allergic reaction to the magnesium. It may be an indication that you have a magnesium deficiency.

After application, you may notice a slight salt-like mineral residue remaining when the solution dries. This is normal, especially in dry climates or heated indoor areas, and varies with the amount of magnesium oil applied at one time, as well as skin type.

    Other hints and tips:

Vary the application areas to increase the bodies overall magnesium level.

Little but often is the key. Massage it in and wait for a minute or so then try a little more.

Once your magnesium levels begin to rise you will find areas that were sensitive before are no longer sensitive.

Wait at least 30 minutes before showering or bathing after applying magnesium oil, to ensure that the magnesium has absorbed into the skin and will not be rinsed off.

Leg Cramps: apply magnesium oil and it can help instantly reduce a muscle cramp
